Cookies and Cream Quilt

NB) this quilt has been donated to Scotch College for the Scottish Banquet fundraiser to be held on May 18th, 2024.

This quilt is made using 7inch squares of thick, tweedy upholstery fabrics which are mostly neutral and muted. There are a few squares of blue just to break it up a bit. The backing is a gorgeous silk in cream tones and edged with shear fabric with a fleck of gold. It's completely square and quite large, perfect as a warm throw on the bed or your favourite sofa. 

Each quilt is designed and created by Suz in her Perth based studio. They are made using fabrics from discontinued upholstery swatch books that would otherwise be destined to landfill. In turn this means each item is truly affordable and environmentally sustainable.

Each quilt is traditionally constructed using padding sandwiched between two layers of fabric and kept in place by lines of stitching, applied in a decorative design.

All quilts are perfect as a throw over a couch or bed. They are substantial and warm and these wonderful works of art are perfect heirlooms that will last generations.

These quilts are to be dry cleaned only.
