Purple Rain Quilt

215cm x 120cm bespoke quilt. Handmade and a totally unique piece of fabric art for your home.

This quilt is quite a long rectangle shape perfect for the end of a bed or as a lounge throw. The 10 inch squares are sewn in a regular grid with fabrics of velvet, linen and silk, in colours of pink to mauve to purple. The backing and binding is a velvety baby pink making this quilt so soft to the touch. 

Each quilt is designed and created by Suz in her Perth based studio. They are made using fabrics from discontinued upholstery swatch books that would otherwise be destined to landfill. In turn this means each item is truly affordable and environmentally sustainable.

Each quilt is traditionally constructed using padding sandwiched between two layers of fabric and kept in place by lines of stitching, applied in a decorative design.

All quilts are perfect as a throw over a couch or bed. They are substantial and warm and these wonderful works of art are perfect heirlooms that will last generations.
