Keen as Mustard Quilt

141cm x 111cm bespoke quilt. Handmade and a totally unique piece of fabric art for your home.

The quilt size was based on the backing fabric which is a beautiful piece of linen with colours of grey blending to mustard in an ombre style. The 6 inch squares used have the same colouring as the back and the fabrics range from velvets to linens to brocades and more. A smaller quilt suitable for a lounge or arm-chair throw.

Each quilt is designed and created by Suz in her Perth based studio. They are made using fabrics from discontinued upholstery swatch books that would otherwise be destined to landfill. In turn this means each item is truly affordable and environmentally sustainable.

Each quilt is traditionally constructed using padding sandwiched between two layers of fabric and kept in place by lines of stitching, applied in a decorative design.

All quilts are perfect as a throw over a couch or bed. They are substantial and warm and these wonderful works of art are perfect heirlooms that will last generations.

These quilts are to be dry cleaned only.
